I return to Clare's annually. Why? 1. Service - Clare could not be more hospitable and always goes out of the way to ensure her guests receive the absolute best from their experience staying at Holly Cottage. She is a real gem. Love her cooked breakfasts and homemade preserves on toast. 2. Rooms - Usually have the twin room with its separate shower ensuite but all rooms are spacious and immaculate with lovely little touches like fresh flowers. 3. Location - Love the quaint village of Hagworthingham and being able to walk onto the Wolds right from the cottage. Its closeness to Horncastle is what attracted me the very first time as it is perfect for visiting family. A big thank you, Clare, and I'll see you next year!

We stayed here overnight recently when we attended our Niece's wedding in nearby Scrivelsby. Our room was spotlessly clean and I was just sorry I didn't have time to soak in the huge bath in the gorgeous bathroom!! Claire was a very friendly host and nothing was too much trouble. My partners breakfast in the morning was freshly cooked and looked lovely, I'm not much of an eater of a morning so Claire offered me fresh fruit, yoghurt and toast and the homemade marmalade was divine! Our stay was short but most definitely sweet! We would most definitely return if we were in the area again and would highly recommend!!

We were warmly welcomed and well advised by the owner on good local pubs, walks, beaches etc., The room and en suite shower were spotlessly clean, well provisioned and very comfortable. Holly Cottage is a wonderful B&B on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Claire is the perfect host, friendly & very informative. If you want peace & quiet this is the place for you. It has a very homely feel, which makes you feel at ease. Everything is clean & tidy but cozy too. The rooms have everything you need with beautiful views. Breakfast was yummy, cooked to perfection. Nothing was too much trouble for Claire. It is in a fabulous location, easy access to towns, countryside or the seaside. We must’ve forget to mention Tess, Claire’s wonderful Collie, whom we wanted to take home with us!! Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed. X
