Absolutely beautiful indoor and outdoor venue space, with the most incredible and caring team. The family at Stockwith Mill are nothing short of wonderful! We had the most amazing ceremony here, would highly recommend to anyone! Thank you so much for making our day so special and making sure everything ran smoothly :)

Stockwith Mill hosted our wedding day on the 19th August and it was everything we wanted and more. We were after a relaxed space in beautiful surroundings and stockwith definitely delivered! Nothing was too much trouble for Kristi and Simon who have so obviously put their heart and soul into stockwith mill and Nichola the wedding coordinator was also absolutely amazing at helping to bring everything together, in a way that worked for us. We were able to use a field for glamping and campervans and have a campfire as the night drew in. All of the staff were absolutely lovely and we had the most perfect day

From the moment we met Simon and Kristi at a wedding fair we knew that we wanted to visit their venue. We had originally planned to marry abroad but after we decided to stay in the UK we knew we had to see what they had to offer. We were welcomed into their home with a cup of tea and an hours chat about the venue which at that point was unfinished. We saw their vision for it and knew we could put our trust in what they wanted to create and we were absolutely blown away on the day. The friendliest couple with a venue which just gets better each time we visit. You really did make our day perfect and as the first couple ever in history to marry there we will recommend again and again! Thank you from the Vinces

Superb location and excellent value. The owners Kristi and Simon are excellent and very professional. They strive to ensure that the day is perfect. Props are not supplied by the venue but we used confetti sweethearts to style with our own props and an excellent job was done. The day was gorgeous with the sun shining giving excellent photographic opportunities within the picturesque Location. The sun shines at the front of the venue and so the terrace is a little colder as the evening draws in, this resulted in guests congregating on the front lawn whilst the entertainment was performing on the terrace. There is a firepit for use which is fab but is set quite away from the stage and the terrace. Guests did enjoy toasting marshmallows in the fire though. Maybe patio heaters could be considered for the future. Some of the ladies said that it was difficult walking in heels on the lawns and in the ceremony area and some changed shoes even before the wedding breakfast. The ceremony area is in Millers field and although this was different to what had been sold to us on our initial meeting, it looks glorious when dressed. Sadly, because there is no electric at the ceremony we found out the night before that one of our wishes couldn't be met. From where were waiting to make our way to the aisle the music couldn't be heard and so that made for a slight hiccup. This didn't dampen the day though. Maybe for future plans an electric hook up point could be looked at being installed should this become a common theme. We chose afternoon tea for our wedding breakfast and Kristi did an amazing job with some lovely touches and plenty of food. Our only regret here was we should have asked for the left over cakes to be boxed up!! All of our guests commented on the quality of the afternoon tea. The bar has ample variety of drinks and coped with our numbers. The toilets are excellent, clean and plenty of facilities but are rather dark, this was commented on by quite a few of our guests.This ay be difficult for some guests who may be visually impaired The venue isn't really wheelchair friendly but the staff did all they could to ensure that this was made easy. When the night darkens the woodland walk is lit gloriously with dappled lighting. As the night drew to a close guests did say that the co-ordinator on the day was a little harsh, but they work tirelessly from early in the morning. props, equipment and belongings have to be off site the next day by 11am. It was a real pleasure to work with kristi and Simon. Sadly the wedding planner, Nichola wasn't available on the day and so there were a couple of items of the day that didn't go as planned but this didn't affect the day.

Where do I begin with Stockwith Mill?! Kristi and the team work their socks off to provide a completely heartfelt, personalised experience for each of their couples, and not only that, they truly do look after all the suppliers that are lucky enough to work with them too! When it comes to the actual wedding day, this venue runs like clockwork; regularly checking in on their couples and all their guests, making sure they're happy, as well as with suppliers ensuring that the day runs smoothly and happily for everyone there. The venue is unique and stunning too! I have not spoken to anyone who doesn't enjoy being amongst the beautiful surroundings and so... I genuinely cannot wait to go back and photograph many more wonderful weddings here! Stockwith Mill - thank you for having me and thank for taking care of me!!

Look no further we had the most perfect Wedding Day. Nothing was too much trouble for Simon, Kristi and the team. The moment we met them we were at ease and had every confidence in them. The location, food, drink service and attention to detail cannot be faulted. We cannot thank you enough and would happily recommend you to any potential customers with a celebration in mind. A 5 star rating is not high enough.

Such a fantastic venue! Simon and Kristi hosted our sons Naming Ceremony at their newly completed Stables events room in the grounds of the Mill. The space is superb and comes with a fully stocked bar and log burner! The Mill House and grounds are open to be explored. We had such a great day and nothing was too much trouble. Their friendly and professional manner left us feeling confident that everything was going to be taken care of. We recently had our son's 5th birthday celebration at Stockwith Mill, and I cannot recommend it enough. It is a perfect location, with beautiful sounds of water trickling down the stream, and beautiful views of the mill, architecture  and countryside; photo opportunities are plentiful. The inside area is characterful and spacious, and there are outside seating areas with benches looking over the stream. We ordered a buffet for the children, and the children all enjoyed it. The bar was also open for the adults, with an extra staff member to help out (they do tasty cocktails!). The prices are reasonable, there is plenty of parking, and there is plenty of space for a bouncy castle! The whole experience was professional, and Kristi made us feel very welcome. Thank you for a lovely day, we look forward to our next visit.

I have visited Stockwith Mill on several occasions and I highly recommend it for an intimate, rustic wedding venue. The outdoor spaces are stunning!
