I loved so much spending a long weekend at this Yurts village, it felt so special to be connected to the nature and with no one apart from our group of friends around. We found the accommodation very comfortable and good sizes. I was really happy to not feel cold in the night as the yurts were very nicely protected. Loved going for a walks and exploring the countryside. A real blessing for those living in the big city, I can't wait to go back already!

Shire Farm Yurt Village was probably one of the best UK holiday rentals I have been to. It feels really rural and secluded while also having touches of luxury that you don’t often get from a glamping experience - hot showers, radiators, full kitchen and plenty of electric sockets. The wood burning stove in the main yurt is a really nice touch for cold evenings after exploring the surrounding countryside. Perfect for a large group who want a private party with no worries about disturbing the neighbours.

I felt blessed after doing no research about this place. What a lucky find we stumbled across. We didn't see another soul for a whole weekend, unless you count the sheep of course! Such an idyllic spot, definitely recommend if you want to get out into the country for some peace and quiet.

Had such an amazing weekend at this Yurt Village last summer, perfect for large groups who want exclusive use of a site. The beds were really comfy and the hot showers were a great addition. The location is beautiful with lots of countryside to explore-can’t wait to return!

We stayed at the beautiful yurt village recently and had a wonderful time. Lilleth was a great host! She responded very quickly, and was very accommodating to our needs/requests. Check-in instructions were super detailed and helpful. The showers were lovey and hot and the toilets were unexpectedly luxurious for a yurt village! The place was very clean and we could not have asked for a more peaceful location. Would stay here again easily!

Loved my stay at Shire Farm! Yurts were so clean and cosy, showers hot, kitchen and bbq equipped to make pretty much anything ya fancy, enough room for all your best people and gorgeous walks far, far away from the hustle. A weekend wasn't enough.

This is a real hidden gem in the beautiful countryside. Easy access, just a couple of minutes from the main road, you are well and truly tucked away enjoying nature with the added bonus of comfortable beds, hot water and electricity. The main living space is really sociable, with a burning log fire in the middle, and large sofas for relaxing and playing games. On our long weekend stay was the perfect staycation. Thank you Shire Farm - we will be back!

The yurt village is in a beautiful peaceful location and has the potential to be amazing, however in comparison to what is actually advertised the village lacked a few things on our stay. The village caters for 16 but during our weekend (of which there was only 7 of us) there was not enough glasses or toilet roll and the kitchen appliances could not cater for us. The microwave kept cutting out, the oven was extremely inefficient and it took over 2 hours to cook breakfast. There was no hot water in the kitchen as the hot tap was not working and the washing up liquid bottle was empty on arrival. There was stains on the bed sheets and we were unable to do the chakra walk that is advertised on the website, as there was no instructions or sign posts and when we questioned this we were advised they would send somebody to help but never did The WiFi didn’t work which we needed for some of our activities planned and when we queried this, again we were advised it would be sorted but nobody came and we were advised just to use our hotspots. Overall this has the potential to be an amazing experience and we did make the best of a bad situation because it was for a hen doo and we wanted the bride to Have an amazing time. We are used to camping and we are fully aware of the essentials needed to camp. Where this falls down is that it does not offer what is advertised and our purpose for picking this yurt village was because we liked the look of everything it offered. Has the Potential to be really good but they need to provide what they say they will and make sure it has the facilities to cater for 16 like advertised .

On the whole we enjoyed our stay, but there were a few issues that let it down. There was no water in the hot tap in the tiny kitchen, so we had to get it from the sinks near the toilets or keep boiling the kettle. We tried to cook a breakfast, but the appliances kept cutting out. We did ring the owners and were told," well, it is only a camping stove". Yes, it IS a camping stove, but it should work. It took over 2 hours to cook a pack of bacon. The owners just seemed very blasé about it. There was no WI-FI either as the code given wasn't working. We were informed that someone would be coming to have a look, but nobody turned up. We wanted to do the Chakra Walk but couldn't find the start of it as all of the gates were locked and there were no signs anywhere to give directions. After conversing with the owners, we were told that they someone was on their way to see us to help. After waiting around for nearly an hour we recieved a message that the person had now gone home, so we didn't get to do the walk, which was meant to be an integral part of our weekend. There were no antibacterial wipes as advertised. In this current climate that should be a priority, and we had to make a trip to buy our own. There weren't enough glasses to drink from and we had to keep using mugs, when it has been stated that there is plenty of everything that you would need. We were a party of 7 and found that there wasn't enough for us, let alone for the full capacity of 16. But, apart from that, the yurts were and cosy, and the beds were very comfortable, although some of the bedding was stained in places. The location was great and it was very peaceful. It has the potential to be such a great place to stay if the many issues are addressed.
